Hello,
I would like to know if there is a model to show the decrease in gas concentration (CO, HCl, ..) depending on the distance from the fire source. If so, how to do it?

Hi,
I have another question. Does sprinkler (extinguishing) affect the reduction of soot dispersion (CO, CO2,..). Somewhere in old posts it was written that it does not. Does anyone have experience with this? I did the extinguishing using the fire extinguishing coefficient and it is falling but I don't know if it is due to dilution with water or due to the fire reduction itself?

CO and CO2 generation rates are proportional to the heat release rate. If you decrease the HRR due to water extinguishment, you will decrease the production rate of CO and CO2 as well.

I did an example and the fire was extinguished with the appropriate sprinkler and extinguishing coefficient, which affects the results.
