Hello, please try to be more specific. What materials and what properties are you searching for? There are multiple database on HRR data, just google "HRR material database". If you look for kinetic parameters, those are hard to transfer, but you can find many articles for common burning materials. Thermophysical properties for pure substances are available for instance using SciFinder. Personally, I don't really like large databases, because I always prefer to find the source data. Burning behavior is heavily dependent on the surrounding conditions, sample preparation and conditions, experimental setup, method, etc. |

I guess you want to visualize the combustion of flammable gases (i.e., flames). Therefore, you need to somehow get combustible gases into your domain. To do so, you don't really need to use pyrolysis (thermal decomposition) of solid material. You can simply prescribe HRR (usually by applying HRRPUA to a surface) and FDS will produce the amount of combustible gases that equals to the prescribed HRR when fully burned with oxygen.
Just please make sure to at least briefly read the FDS User's Guide. There are also very simple examples of FDS models based on defining HRRPUA that are part of the installed FDS folder.
