Yes, integrating the heat release rate and dividing by the heat of combustion will tell you how much fuel burned inside your domain. |

Hi there,
I have a case in which there is a release of flammable liquid (or gas). I have added a surface that blows 500kg of the species in the domain in 4 seconds. I have assumed that the species (e.g. benzene) has low Auto Ignition Temperature (0) and burns immediately when enters the domain. I would like to measure how much of that mass is finally burned out. What kind of DEVC can i use to get that results in time interval and the total? Or, is reliable to divide the total heat release with the heat of combustion to get the burned mass?
