Codes for the statistical analysis in Mining is a major driver of deforestation across tropical forests by Giljum et al. (under review). The scripts here produces results from in the paper, supplement, and additional robustness checks. The documentation and strucure is work in progress.
Scripts are organised into subfolders:
cluster/for data preparation that is run on the WU computing cluster,direct_def/for results regarding direct deforestation,plots/for visualisation,summaries/for tables and other data summaries,- and the main folder with modelling scripts.
