The columns width are fixed now and the same for all columns. But in typical situations the files/folders names are longer than information about the size, which makes that files/folders names are cut off but there is unnecessary free space in column with size.
Solution/Idea
Automatic columns width fitting should be turned on in all folders in default.

I don't know of any alternatives.
