Bug: Crash when opening folders in grid view

Description

Opening a folder while in a view other than miller column view often leads to a crash.
Seemingly, if that folder was, just before then, opened in miller column view, and then you try to go back to grid view and open that way, it will not crash.

I've found no surefire way to reproduce - sometimes this happens, sometimes it doesn't, but it happens at least twice a day in my case.

1. View a folder with subfolders in grid view
2. Try to open subfolder
3. Crash

The log doesn't show any errors, can you

1. Type Event Viewer into the Windows start menu search
2. Go to Windows logs > Application
3. Screenshot the first Application Error under the source column with this symbol that has Files.exe shown on the first line
4. Upload this on GitHub comment box (Email attachments don't work)

A same type of crash happened just now (opening a folder in grid view) and this same event popped up, so I can confirm that's "the thing". Faulting module name: CoreMessagingXP.dll, version: 10.0.27108.1046, time stamp: 0xed7f8bdb
