Trying to add an avatar to a user

Maybe my installation is broken somehow, but keep finding strage behavior.

I logged in as admin, went to profile tab and selected Upload Picture and picked file 201 × 108 pixels jpg (first assumed my first choice was too big). Clicking upload disable the button, nothing happens. As well as clicking Use Gravatar.

After this, in a list of users, the image next to admin is missing (broken link).

Is there a some king of healthcheck of the installation?

I would suggest checking your active storage configuration is set up as you expect - config/storage.yml
If using file storage, checking paths are writable, etc.

No health check specifically at the moment.

Thank you, I learned it the long way, forgot to flag this as resolved.

It's not resolved yet.

I checked storage/ there were several layers of folders and my uploaded file without an extension

Checked logs/production.log - the interesting thing is ActionController::RoutingError (No route matches [GET] "/%22http://100.100... e.g. some parser processed (") to html-safe %22

Not familiar with the process where the file gets saved
