Since this issue was opened, the Chrome extension has been updated to 6.1.2 (5/7/2025) while the Firefox version is still at 6.0.0. In practice, this appears to make the Firefox extension incompatible with newer versions of React.

In the meantime you can use this version of the React DevTools Firefox extension^* via "Install Add-on from file".
