Does it work on windows?

It works really well on my mac but not for my customers who are on windows. Do i need to change some settings so it works on windows? I'm using usb

I don't have Windows machine to test but it should work.
Can you give me more information about the problem?
If you try with an example (examples/native_usb.rs or examples/usb.rs) using usb or native_usb feature, is the printer listed?

Hi,

I used the usb feature. It always gave an error that the Usb device is busy . Now I'm using Zadig as a workaround to change the driver to WinUSB but there is the problem that the printer can not be used in another program. I will try again with native_usb feature.

I find this for the rusb crate which is used in usb feature: a1ien/rusb#35 (comment)
For the native_usb feature using nusb, the documentation mentioned this: https://docs.rs/nusb/latest/nusb/#windows

It seems that both rusb and nsub use WinUSB on Windows.

Hi, this require Windows System Library, I think you should use conditional compilation like target_os
you don't need cross compilation.
use some thing like Github Action to compile Windows version.

windows_printer::Printer or linux_printer::Printer should implement by same Trait, use use printer_module::Printer automatic import corresponding compiler platform Printer
