[Feature request] Do the reverse from markdown to Google Docs

I sometimes have to copy markdown to Google Docs but it doesn't seem to work.

Would it be possible for this to offer another button that is "copy to Google Docs" from the panel's text entry that is markdown?

That would require permission to write to your Google Doc. We are trying to minimize the required permissions for this add-on. (In addition to the fact that this would require a large amount of new code.) So this is not likely to happen (sorry to disappoint!).

Ok, that makes a lot of sense. I agree we want to keep the permissions pretty light!

There isn't a way to generate something in RTF that would be copied from the text box that could be pasted into Google Docs manually that retains things like headings, links, bullets, etc.?

Hi Chris -- you can probably paste a rendered web page (Markdown or HTML) into a Google Doc, and it will (mostly) format properly. RTF is a whole 'nother markup that I don't want to have to deal with! (done that long ago before Google Docs even existed!)
