Everything works but... reloading every minute

Thumbs and streams work well with the Hikvision DVR.
But is reregistering the camera's ever minute....
Is that by design? I have 3 of the 8 slots unused, it shows as an error, but seems but handled fine, so it doesnt look like thats the problem.
