Problem

Some people encounter problems when entering gather - page not showing, slowing down of the system. The following support was offered by the providers - try to follow it, and if the problem persists, please add your feedback here!

Hints on how to fix

  1. Use Chrome (if not already using it!)
  2. Make sure all other tabs and applications are closed
  3. Turn off the "Smooth movement" and "HD Video" features in the user preferences
  4. Turn on Quiet Mode to help limit your total number of video and audio connections (More info here: https://support.gather.town/help/gather-102#quiet-mode )
  5. Increase your default browser zoom (Using ctrl or cmd and the "+" key) to be at 120% or greater to reduce

  1. Your system specs (Operating system, processor, and RAM)
  2. The browser you were using when you encountered issues

  5. Results from a speedtest (https://speedtest.net)
