[sh bootstrap.sh 2] failed when trying to untar [eudev] on Gentoo #39

Hello,
I'm running your scripts on Gentoo, which in our opinion, it is highly recommended, and followed the instructions as followed. This is on the beta branch.
sh ./bootstrap.sh 1 = That worked fine
sh ./bootstrap.sh 2 = Did not work fine
This is what the error says after I ran sh bootstrap.sh 2
bsdtar: Error opening archive: Unrecognized archive format
=> failed extracting eudev-3.2.11.tar.gz
