German Translation

I would like to help with the German translation. Did I miss anything about how I can contribute?
I can gladly translate either XML files or Excel files, or whatever is preferred.

Hi, that's great. You did not miss a thing, I just add translations somewhat on demand, since it requires some manual UI adjustements.
The main task is to translate the strings resource file (attached)

Then we would continue with the rest of the UI strings.
