Handheld (Small) Battery-powered Chainsaw

As noted in: dwyl/home#361 we have a lot of branches that we need to cut ...
I've been thinking of getting an Electric Mini Chainsaw, e.g:

if we're able to buy land, this will get used a lot when trimming branches and preparing firewood.

At €70, seems like a good idea IF we can ensure it is ALWAYS stored without the the battery (which shouldn't be right next to it either) because kids will be curious kids.

If they switch on a drill it'll just turn but if they switch this on, it might kick and then they drop it and it doesn't even bare thinking about. In fact, I think we need to start locking the workshop 😣

Inês, believe-it-or-not I'm pretty good with carefully storing the power tools in the workshop.
I store most without batteries (such as saws, multi-tools and angle grinders).
Only the screwdrivers are always ready-to-go with charged batteries in them. 🪛 🔋 ✅

We can lock the workshop after work hours. But 09:00 - 17:00 would slow us all down a silly amount. ⏳

Order placed:

We have several of the 5ah 18V rechargeable batteries in the workshop so this is a great deal for just the chainsaw.
And having a "bare" unit is good for encouraging us to store it without a battery, which makes it much safer with curious kids. 👌
