Upcoming vctrs 0.7.0 release #78
Description
We are working on the next vctrs release, targeted for Jan 15, and this package came up in our revdep analysis.
I am unsure if this is a false positive or not. I am having trouble getting all of your dependencies installed, in particular RcppArmadillo just had a release and there is no binary available, and I'm having issues installing it from source.

A few stack imbalance issues

The stack imbalance issues seem very scary, and could be the cause of the error. Stack imbalance issues are generally a bit random and hard to reproduce, which could explain why it failed for us with dev vctrs but not cran vctrs (i.e. one of them got lucky).
If you could please investigate this by running your checks against dev vctrs (install with pak::pak("r-lib/vctrs")), that would make it easier for us, thanks!
