I want to check a licence question rather than assume, because CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 is explicit about non-commercial use.
We operate Tessera Monitor, a geostrategic monitoring platform that displays open data sources on a map: armed conflict events, maritime traffic, infrastructure, and a cyber threat layer. We would like to use feeds/IPC2s-30day.csv to show C2 infrastructure.
The honest position: the platform is free to access, has no premium features, and has no paying users. It is, however, operated by MITMARK Intelligence, a for-profit UK cybersecurity consultancy, and it does act as a demonstration of our capability to prospective clients. So I cannot cleanly claim "non-commercial", and I do not want to stretch the definition in my own favour.
If you would be willing to permit this use, we would:
Attribute C2IntelFeeds (drb-ra) with a link to this repository, visibly, wherever the data is shown
State the retrieval date and the feed used
Not redistribute the raw feed, or present the indicators as our own analysis
Come back to you before introducing any paid tier
If the answer is no, that is completely fair and we will remove it. I would simply rather ask you directly than quietly rely on an interpretation you might not share.
