Not compatable with `iife` due to top-level awaits

I'm trying to use this package in a userscript , but cannot because it's not compatable with IIFE.

Even with the necessary vite plugins.

error during build:
Module format "iife" does not support top-level await. Use the "es" or "system" output formats rather.
