PageLoadTimerExtension

An extension that measures and displays the load time of web pages, enhancing your browsing experience.

How to install?

  1. Download the repository from This link

  2. detect and remember the installed path:

    • This's the rar file:

    • Extract the file. You may see this now...

    • Enter the folder and select the v.0.3.0-beta and select the "main" folder again:

    • You'll see the "files" folder. Remember the path, as we'll use it in continue...

      The path should be this: PageLoadTimerExtension-main\main

  3. Go to chrome://extensions/

  4. Turn on the Developer Mode

  1. Steps to recieving the key:

    • Press the "Pack Extension" button:

    • from this menu, select the first "Browse" button:

    • Follow the path we found at the second step and click on the "files" folder once so to choose it like this:

    • The menu should look like this:

    • Hit the "Pack Extension" button

    • You'll see that the packing has happened successfully and the browser is going to recommend you that:

      Keep your key file in a safe place. You will need it to create new versions of your extension.

      you may follow Google's advices precisely.

  2. Press the Load Unpacked

  1. Choose the "files" folder we've just found at the second step and have used at the 5th step.

  1. Done! you should see the extension between your extensions.
