Not always in Full Screen

Hello,

I have FEH installed on a Raspberry PI 5 connected to a screen. I'm turning on automatically the PI in the morning and launching it FEH via CRON using this command below. I want the PI to show all my family pictures.

feh -Y -x -q -D 3 -B black -F -Z -r -z ~/nas_photos/

The problem is that many times, FEH is turning on not in full - full screen. It's still showing the Menu Bar of the PI.
When I relaunch the PI, sometimes it's showing it with a full - full screen, sometimes not....randomly.

Any idea of what's happening?

I'm doing something similar with a Raspberry Pi 3B+.
I'm running current 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS (bookworm), fully updated, not customised much at all.
I can try the same on RPi5 to see if there is a similar issue.
How often does it do the right thing? 50%? 90%? 99%?

It seems it's 80% when I launch it via the Cron file and 10% when I launch it manually via the terminal.

Additionally, I would be happy to know the specific command line you are utilizing.
As a reminder, I have been using the following command:
feh -Y -x -q -D 3 -B black -F -Z -r -z ~/nas_photos/

I'm doing this over ssh: $ DISPLAY=:0 src/feh -Z -F -Y 'http://nas.lan/PhotoFrame/Christmas (Artistic)_18_3 (Hi-Res).png'

Are you also launching it via Crontab?

It turns out that my RPi5 is running Ubuntu, and because it's Ubuntu it's Wayland (not real X11, and what's up with Wayland and where is the documentation and explanation?!) so I'm scratching around for a spare SD card to try vanilla Raspberry Pi OS on there temporarily.
