Rework on full-stack messaging

Currently, there is difference in how messaging is handled:

• for success, front-end usually generate the message
• for errors, back-end generate the message (it was easier to do).

In a an ideal world, it should be the same for consistency. It seems that the front-end should be responsible of doing it, while back-end would return codes only.
