When german-sbl.lbx was made, the abbreviation of reprint was altered from Nachdr. (as it is in german.lbx`) to Ndr.

A recent discussion at https://tex.stackexchange.com/a/498826/87678 raised this issue and also proposed ND as being more standard in biblical studies.

Can anyone comment on this? (Especially @baem2 , since I think you made the original change.)

I'd stick with "Ndr.": "Nachdr." is too long if you want to have an abbreviation. "ND" breaks the normal rules for abbreviations (why D as a capital letter?!), and I did not see it too often (as opposed to the comment you're linking to) ...
