Hyprland still defaulting to standard cursor

Hello, I set my cursor in my configuration.nix with the following line
stylix.cursor.package = pkgs.numix-cursor-theme;

This correctly sets my cursor in goolge-chrome and vscode however in the terminal and just on my wallpaper I still have the default Hyprland cursor anyone know how to fix this ? I tried setting the cursor manually in my hyprland config but no succes so far

Had to reboot my system for it to take effect ^
