To do list:

  • use R for preliminary summaries and cleaning
  • pilot cross-checking
  • prepare cross-checking instructions
  • create copy of the data sheet for cross-checking
  • summarise numbers of extracted preprint per contributor
  • split preprints between relevant contributors for data cross-checking
  • contact relevant contributors asking for data cross-checking, provide instructions, links etc
  • update project status, etc.

@daniel1noble @itchyshin - please see the draft cross-checking instructions here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Clgr0PlUkiQvW6D_4FZhfSUGwgxB70_sEuxeX7SwZgo/edit?usp=sharing
and the formatted GoogleSheet spreadsheet to be used for cross-checking here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1h4nsea8O5pKj6DsL_Hi7CJZ9lhsTMUJiN5fakhSDkuA/edit?usp=sharing

(I also sent you admin invites to both online documents)

I created a pull request for the files with updated and expanded data cleaning code and resulting data file (used to create the spreadsheet). Please check and merge and tidy up.

I have piloted data cross-checking on a small block of 6 records (used as an example in the Instructions).

Happy to discuss any issues. Thanks!
