I'm Shrunken from the support site; I figured I'd put my suggestions where you officially keep track of such things.
  • Make clicking the toolbar icon's default action be to toggle the display-not display orientation of the hotkey.
    • I believe this will be more in-line with the predominant utilization of TZP.
    • CTRL+SHIFT+Z or ¿whatever?, to toggle hotkey orientation would also be handy.
    • Leave enable/disable as an alternative option for those that need it.
      • maybe even assign this to middle-clicks (on the icon).
      • this could also be given it's own keyboard shortcut.
    • You could simply grey-out the icon to convey when users have entered the display state.
      • that way they will know that TZP isn't completely deactivated.
  • The display+not display hotkey should perform those corresponding actions instantly when the mouse cursor is already hovering over an image.
    • Currently they only do their thing when users are already holding the assigned hotkey BEFORE hovering an image.
    • Pressing it AFTER hovering over an image should trigger that same corresponding action, either invoke or dismiss a zoomed image.

Thanks for continuing to maintain this neat browsing accessory, BTW 👍

Hello, thanks for the suggestion; I think it's a good idea, though I don't know when I'll have a chance to implement it.

Your second point is partially implemented in 4.1beta2, where pressing the 'key to not dispaly' pops down the image. In all versions, pressing the Escape key or clicking the pop-up pops down the image.
