mboxevents test suite?

Would be nice to have a test suite that tries to exercise all the code paths that result in mboxevents being generated, and sanity checks the resulting events.

The infrastructure is already in place for catching and extracting the events, and a few places (ack getnotify) already check them, so it's "just" a matter of exercising and checking everything else!

Looks like someone submitted an implementation once upon a time (#12) but it hasn't been integrated for unknown reasons...
