Display dates in short format on some screens

Shamrock and Sherlock use this UI trick a lot.

There is a category of screens - screens which show operational data. Operational data is data which is mostly about what is happening now or today, not about historical data. For this sort of data it is very convenient to highlight today's dates.

• If date+time is "today" - then display only time part.
• If date is from another day - then display full value.

I suppose that the same formatting would fit well for some platform screens:

• user sessions
• locks
• possibly other screens in commercial modules
