convert mac notes

I recently learned apple is holding my notes captive. "Support" suggested i copy-paste each note to a file. Surely comical with hundreds of notes.

Can cryptag import?

Sounds like one could use https://www.igeeksblog.com/export-notes-in-mac-os-x/ to export, and then yes I could write a CrypTag importer... which makes me curious about the exact format of the .txt files that that app produces; should be easy to write an importer once I know.
