The eye locations right now are based on finding the farthest part of the eye sockets, which is not the same as the center of the eye. With a good guess of the edge of the face, it might be possible to better locate the center of the eye in relation to the eye socket and face edge.

This won't change the fact that it is a rough heuristic and is outperformed in accuracy by the VJ tracker (hence the hybrid candidate location technique)
