Unstable Intellij Plugin

The IntelliJ plugin is very unstable for me - it freezes or hangs, sometimes within seconds, sometimes after a few minutes.
I've tested it on several different machines with the same result.
There's nothing relevant in either core.log or idea.log.
This makes the plugin nearly unusable. I feel like I'm wasting the addon model by constantly restarting the IDE.

Is there any solution for this?

I don’t want to suggest a solution, but I do want to emphasize this statement:
We’ve been using the plugin for nearly a year now, and unfortunately, it hasn’t improved at all. With every new update, I hope it will finally be stable—but it consistently freezes and hangs, especially when multiple IntelliJ windows are open simultaneously.
Because of this, developers often revert to using a ChatGPT instance in the browser.
We genuinely want to use the plugin, but we’re already exploring alternative solutions, as it seems unlikely this issue will be resolved.
