LUKS (static) without automatic unlock and a "classic" passphrase promt

Dear TalOS community,

after a bit of web(re)search i found TalOS a super nice Platform to begin my Podman journey or at least experiment (:
my current goal is to get a TalOS either bare metal or as VM running with LUKS.

But since its mainly developed for lager and more complex deployments the unlock is mostly automatic as seen in the docs:

so my question tl;dr:
how can i setup TalOS to prompt for the LUKS passphrase on boot?
(similar to what a classic linux desktop installation would do)
