I have jotted down some notes on a potential "whatprovides" backend for quetz.

mamba-org/quetz#104

Maybe conda-suggest could be one of the future users ... I guess once we collect the data in the quetz server we could put it in the correct map format for conda-suggest.

@scopatz we have started on a conda-suggest backend plugin that generates these mapping files whenever someone uploads something to quetz: mamba-org/quetz#139

The idea is to expose the mapping file similarly to a repodata.json file in the channel (although admittedly it's unclear how to handle noarch... maybe just add them to the arch-specific files).

Just thought you might be interested :)
