At the moment when you click on a canonical document in the visualiser you get the content of that, but if you click on a concept you get some information about the relationship of the content to other concepts or canonicals or documents.
It would be more interesting if the relationships of the canonical were printed out in the same way as they are for concepts - the information is available because the relationships are drawn out, but it can be hard to see and record all of them at the moment.
