How to make black scatter points in CIE Diagram?

Hi Colour Team,

In the CIE Diagram of one image, the scatter points colors are based on its distance to the white point, right?

But now I want to make all of them just pure BLACK points.
Is there any option to do that?

Hi @hminle,

The points are actually using the colours of the array you pass in, you can, however, change them entirely using the scatter_kwargs arguments:

colour/colour/plotting/models.py

scatter_kwargs=None,

It passes the dict directly to the matplotlib.pyplot.scatter definition.

By the way, if you use colour.plotting.colour_style() you will get default plotting settings that are maybe better for you!

But none of that is what I want.
I want to make all scatter points have the black color.
Now each point has different gradient colors.

Mmmh, this is odd! Can you please let me know the output of that call: colour.utilities.describe_environment(); and also paste the whole invocation for the plotting call.

I've just tried.
It's still the same.
Don't know why, but any scatter arguments seems do not have any effect on the Diagram.

Pfiouuu! Sweet! :) Note that scatter_parameters will effectively be renamed to scatter_kwargs in 0.3.16 but you will get a warning and scatter_parameters will still work.
