Hover tooltip does not show corresponding comment

When hovering over a property/method, the tooltip that appears does not show a corresponding comment even if it exists.

Clang only added support for different documentation formats in version 22, see https://clangd.llvm.org/config#commentformat
Before that, it only shows doxygen comments (as far as I'm aware).
For those /** or /*! should be used to open the comment block.

That has to do with how the contents of the comment are interpreted/parsed, and how the result is presented to the user.

For plain text content, any comment format (e..g // comment, /* comment */, etc.) should be recognized and propagated to the hover.

@SoCuul My objective-c knowledge is limited, but it seems to work for me on a trivial example:

@interface Waldo

/* Documentation for location property */
@property(readonly, assign) int location;

/* Documentation for find method */
- (void)find;
@end

void bar(Waldo* w) {
  int loc = w.location;
  [w find];
}

Hovering over the location token in w.location shows:

and over the find token in [w find]:

If you can share a different (complete) code example on which it's not working, the issue can be investigated further.
