Dashboard failing to show data outside of VM #920

Description

@SimplyICT

I have a headscratching issue, no data display outside of a vm yet inside vm is fine

So I am running Malcolm in a VM under VMWare Workstation Pro.
with 2 Nics.
After install and some config, data was showing up nicely in the Malcolm dashboards via localhost. So I thought, great, I will be able to run Malcolm externally.
I entered the IP of the VM and up came the Malcolm dashboard, logged in and all the same displays show up minus the data.
so via localhost, on the vm, everything is fine, on the ip via the host machine, I get Malcolm minus data. on any dashboard. nonthing displays. even if I copy the exact link, change to the IP and use that link, the dashboard loads up with no data.
and it isn't the IP address, I can use the same IP in the VM and all works fine. just not ouside of the VM

I am using Malcolm 26.02.0
VM has 8 cores, 16gb ram and 200GB storage
installed on VM via downloaded Iso's

Something is blocking the data from showing up on the external ip, but all the dashboards are there.

many thanks in advance

Dave
