Kindle Scribe 2025 blanks

Hoping a new mode for the 2025 Scribe can be added, as it has a new resolution of 2648x1986. Making a MOBI file using a custom profile does not seem to work at this resolution, it just endlessly loads. Thanks!

I did add a Kindle Scribe 2025 profile in 9.4.1 pre-release, but based on user feedback it doesn't work well. You can try it though, maybe Amazon has fixed the comic renderer since then.

you can also try pdf output and send to kindle.

Also, can you confirm the resolution? People posted online it was 2640x1980

Thank you for providing the correct resolution, I guess all the people who posted the resolution online were wrong. There were multiple posts. Unless there is a difference between the color one? Not sure.

What do you mean? Landscape PDFs are always split in 2.

That version seems to work on my end, thanks a bunch! Regarding PDFs, if them splitting in two is normal I just wasn't aware, standard vertical manga pages were splitting before.

Regarding your splitting problem, maybe a picture would be clearer, I'm not sure what you mean. So you are reading in portrait and things are being split? How are they split? @TheBeverage

Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to the MOBI version working correctly. When I was using PDF (prior to this new version you posted) and the custom resolution, it was splitting the image into two halves vertically. I didn't save it unfortunately and it may well be fixed in the new version anyway, I haven't tried since MOBI is fine now.

Can you clarify you have the BW version? Not the Colorsoft?

I know the screenshot is BW but I just want to be clear. @TheBeverage

Additionally, scribe colorsoft users are reporting problems where only bottom part is rendering. So maybe a version where I cut exactly in half instead of 1920 boundary? https://github.com/axu2/kcc/releases/tag/v9.4.2-halfcut

Yes I have the B&W 2025 version not Colorsoft. I haven't used PDF since MOBI has been working so I'm not sure.

With the MOBI files I have been having an issue with frequent blank pages/parts of pages, though. It resolves itself when I close and reopen the document and scroll a couple pages, but it's happening really frequently. I read old issues and it seems related to JPEG quality, but I don't see a way to change that in the settings of the new scribe version you posted the other day.
