It is generated in $(EXPDIR) for preproceeing, so -I$(EXPDIR) should not be removed in both CPPFLAGS and INC in Makefile.host.xxx.

Thank you for your help,i do "mkdir EXPDIR in the same directory of RUN" ,and put -I$(EXPDIR) in both CPPFLAGS and INC in Makefile.host.pgi ,but it is still lack of "definesld.com" and the make is stopped.Any suggestion? Thank you.

Do not make in RUN directory. In t01, vvm.setup and vvm.run are designed for running the model. Try "csh vvm.setup" and then "csh vvm.run".
