How to add a tab to the page bottom?

Like in the default example, (create 1 grid first):

I closed the Grid 1, how can I programmatically open it again?

I've tried calling

        model.doAction(
          FlexActions.addNode(
            { type: "tab", component: "grid", name: "a grid", id: 5 },
            node.getId(), // or -1, 0
            DockLocation.BOTTOM,

but it didn't work.
