Bug Description
The regional format for numbers when selecting English (South Africa) is wrong.
South Africa uses the ISO standard and therefor the following applies:
- The decimal character is the comma ","
- The thousands separator is a space " "
Currently the US format is displayed: 1,234,567.89
It should be: 1 234 567,89
Currency is: R20,457.99
It should be: R20 457,99
Before someone claims that this is not used by most people in South Africa, I like to make it clear that when there is a formal standard, we should adhere to it. If someone doesn't want to use that, they are free select English (United States) as the regional settings.
As it is now, it is not possible select and English regional setting with the official format, which is a bug.
The same applies to Afrikaans regional setting, which are currently wrong too.
(I reported this at Launchpad.net as well)
