Consuming content from headless Wordpress or Drupal mixed with other sources

I would like to try out Bridgetown, but I'm not sure if I can make it fit my client's needs unless I can give them a simple and relatively familiar UI for their publishing. As much as a PHP-based solution makes me wince a little, it seems like if Bridgetown can be made to automatically consume data from a headless Drupal or WP installation, I might get the flexibility and elegance of Bridgetown and still be able to keep things familiar and simple for the client.

So the first question: can Bridgetown publish headless Drupal or WordPress content out of the box or will I have to create a new plugin to make it possible?

Secondly, if they are amenable over time to moving away from one of those, can Bridgetown consume posts from multiple sources without any problem, and present them the same way?

(I'll look at the Prismic option and see if that is a good fit, and ultimately I would like to publish from an Obsidian vault, but that looks like it will pose some obstacles. As long as using multiple sources is not an issue, then I can work out those details later.)
