Personal Squad & multiple projects

I'm confused about how to correctly/best utilise a personal squad in combination with multiple projects.

We several repositories in a microservices setup, and I would like my squad to get familiar across repositories over time, or learn shared patterns and facilitate them into skills.

What's the best or recommended approach on this topic? I don't think the docs are immediately clear on the whole personal squad use cases and how it works. I'm confused at least.

Any insight besides what's available in the docs er appreciated.
