For my thesis I have created an image showing the relationship between the tangent space and manifold element inspired by the great illustrations in the post by @mmattamala.
While my image is not a straight up copy, it's sufficiently similar such that I would like to protect myself against accusations of plagiarism.
Are the images in this repository also licensed under MIT? What would be the correct Copyright attribution (the year in the LICENSE file is still 2019)?
Have you considered licensing the images using a license more typical for artwork such as the Creative Commons Attribution license?
Thank you!

Hi @sadsimulation , I'm glad to know the posts and figures have been useful. I think the point you raised is really important to avoid issues, even though I might be more chill about it. While we never discussed the license of the images, it would make sense to me to put them under Creative Commons Attribution, given that the source SVG exists there as well.
@dellaert do you have any recommendations on this?
