Add ID or CLASS values to dv.table()

I need a way to simply add classes or IDs to the table and rendered elements from dataview so that I can style it effectively. I'm wondering if its possible to extend the functionality of the JS API to add these values. I've looked everywhere and I don't see a simple way of managing this so figured I'd post a request here, but open to other suggestions as well.

Note: New to Obsidian and Dataview but this week have become very fascinated with what you can do with the tool so great job!

The existing javascript API can probably be extended to do this without major issue.

sorry to come back to you so late. I currently go through older issues to see which are stale or already solved.

If you're speaking about dataviewjs alone, you can do this by manipulating the container of the query. Heres an example of this: https://s-blu.github.io/obsidian_dataview_example_vault/20%20Dataview%20Queries/Show%20all%20photos%20of%20the%20week%20in%20a%20grid/

The important line is dv.container.className += ' imagegrid'.
