Synchronization limited by message age

Windows Mail had the following feature: limited synchronization, where only messages no older than 1-3-6-12 months were downloaded locally for the user's account, or all messages were downloaded.

This feature can be useful for large, long-standing email accounts. For example, I have 906 messages in my inbox from the last 15 years. I download all messages to my home computer, but only download messages from the last 3 months to my travel laptop.
