App not installable in Denmark

I'm in Denmark, and when I try to install the mobile bitcoin client from the market, I'm met with a “This item cannot be installed in your device's country”.

The app uses a form of encryption which is subject to export laws, and cannot be installed outside the US at the moment. We're working on it, sorry!

We need to look into it and possibly remove all encryption/decryption from the crypto library. (Bitcoin only needs {create,sign,verify})

If the developer was living in, say, UK and uploaded it to the market from there, would it be available with encryption/decryption? Or does the Android Market simply consider itself US territory?
