Similar to how Android's Strict Mode works: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/os/StrictMode
I suggest allowing a configurable penalty so we can, for example, choose the app to throw an exception and break instead of just the current warning.
This is useful in CI environments and also enables teams to create more obvious visibility around blocking calls while development happens locally.
