Is decryption supposed to work?

In the official Evernote clients, I can click encrypted text, enter an encryption password, and view the text. However, this does not work in NixNote2 (AppImage). I just see:

Do I need to install something to enable this? It seems like it understands what I'm trying to do but...can't do it.

This repository is currently not maintained (as the maintainer is not reachable).
For version 2.1+ see https://github.com/robert7/nixnote2

In version 2.0 and 2.1 encryption works, but currently only older "Evernote 64 bit RC2 cipher" is supported.

I will maybe later add the "AES" Cipher which is not working currently (as you also see on your screen shoot)..
