Unable to assign storage in new install

I run the single command install on a new Ubuntu 24.04 VM in Proxmox and I'm getting the following error after entering my sudo password and the host name that I'm going with:

"Unable to assign storage
We couldn't set up storage for the path you provided. Please check that you're using a valid path."

I just ran the simple curl command that was in the free "purchase" I did. I also recreated the VM with a different username in case that was the problem. No difference.

The downgrade command was missing a number of tilde's which I've fixed here:

sudo apt-get install docker-ce=5:28.5.2-1~ubuntu.24.04~noble docker-ce-cli=5:28.5.2-1~ubuntu.24.04~noble docker-ce-rootless-extras=5:28.5.2-1~ubuntu.24.04~noble containerd.io docker-buildx-plugin docker-compose-plugin
