Wifi issues

Hi all

I'm having some issues with the wifi on my Framework 13 running omarchy. Once in a while suddenly websites take forever to load and end in a timeout. Interestingly I can still ping an IP or URL though. The only fix I found so far is restarting iwd.

Has anyone else had the same issue or could guide me a bit in troubleshooting this?

From what I recall from a few blog posts this is mostly because of WiFi drivers support being bad poorly on generally everywhere but especially on Linux. Another reason may be due to having newer kernels which are less tested so using an lts kernel may fix this.
Anyways WiFi is a complex issue and routers sometimes stop working and randomly listen to other routers. There is a package that has wifi channels specific to your country if that may help. Also I deleted iwctl completely, maybe that may help. Also maybe try messing around with the different network daemons or packages and see which one works
